Construction on the ‘New Blue School’ has been in full swing over the last year! As we look ahead to the 2021-22 school year, we anticipate TK through 5th graders at King-Chavez Primary and Arts & Athletics academies will get to enjoy the new facility after they return from summer vacation. The new, state-of-the-art two-story building has been designed to inspire collaboration and creative thinking with its bright, open concept feel and leading-edge design features. Its 20 classrooms spread across two floors will be divided with glass walls creating a sense of openness and community among classrooms and students. The schoolyard is also receiving its own redesign that will include a new play structure, green spaces, and a brand-new artificial turf soccer field.
