The Genesis of Parrish Community Park
In the heart of Manatee County, the forthcoming Parrish Community Park is set to become a beacon of community spirit. This project promises to transform the area off Ft. Hamer Road near Parrish Community High School into a vibrant hub of family-friendly activities.
The concept of Parrish Community Park was conceived several years ago, spearheaded by former Parrish Civic Association President Gretchen Fowler. Recognizing the community’s growth potential, Fowler laid the groundwork for what is now a multi-phased project soon to break ground. With substantial county funding, this initiative aims to realize the long-held dream of creating a space where residents can engage in various recreational activities.
